If you are following the JOY Breakfast socials, specifically our instagram,, you would have noticed a post over the holidays from Thorne Harbour Health, with a certain volounteer named Rach sharing why she wanted to volunteer with the org.
That got us thinking. There are so many organisations in our communities that are built by and continue to grow off the work of people stepping in and volunteering to make our world and our communities better – so why not shine a spotlight on them.
We are kicking things off with our new Volounqueer segment close to home, with our very own JOY Media. And are joined by a familiar voice to Wednesday Breakfast to tell us about his journey volunteering with JOY, Wednesday Breakfast newsreader Craig Brown.
