Wake up and roll into your Thursday with Joel & Dave and their sassy bitch Liam for JOY Breakfast – a funny, cheeky, and delightfully unpredictable morning show that mixes news, nostalgia, and nonsense with a lot of laughs.

Joel & Dave kicked off the morning with Dave’s haircut drama before diving into the 2025 Logies nominations—complete with a brand-new Ray Martin Award—and the unexpected return of ‘90s heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas to the spotlight (maybe). Dave posed his Big Question, Joel dropped some Random Thoughts, and listeners got the latest on Joel’s cheeky “infatuation” update. They welcomed three-time Aussie Barista Champion Jack Simpson, who wowed with his passionfruit husk coffee and plans for Milan, before testing Pride Month knowledge in a fabulous round of trivia. The show wrapped with a fierce birthday tribute to pop icon Paula Abdul, still dancing, slaying, and “Forever Our Girl” at 63.
