Thanks to funding from Family Planning Victoria, Australiaâ€™s only Gay and Lesbian community radio station, JOY 94.9, travelled to Shepparton on Sunday February 13, 2011, for an Outside Broadcast as part of Family Planning Victoriaâ€™s Sexual Health and Diversity Enterprise campaign.
The SHADEs of JOY Broadcast was a sexual health information forum and was held at UnitingCare Cutting Edge in Shepparton.
The SHADE campaign aims to raise awareness of Sexually Transmitted Infections and Blood Borne Viruses in same sex attracted young people, in regional Victoria, and their social networks.
Hour 3 includes interviews with: BBQ chat with Andrew & Paul, two local gay guys; Ilana Cooper, Kat Bryan & Felix Scholes, Youth Empowerment Against HIV-AIDS
