This is part three of JOY 94.9′s special International Women’s Day event for 2014. In part three of the audio series, we hear from Lian Low. Lian is Peril magazine’s prose editor, and began her editing life doing volunteer work on the publications of non-profit and community organisations. Her first short play, Hyper-reality, won her an award and became the vehicle for her coming out queer to her family, and to a Victorian Arts Centre audience. She has also written collaboratively in theatre projects. Her writing has been published inWhen Our Children Come Out (Growing Up Asian in Australia).
