Zoe is a 20-something student, friend, sister, lesbian, aunt and roommate whose life of study and socialising is thrown a curve ball when she unexpectedly falls in love with someone she perhaps shouldn’t have. Consequently, she is faced with making a series of choices whose outcomes not only impact on her independence, but on her relationships with the people who mean the most to her.
With great performances by some Australian talent to look out for, Zoe Misplaced shines a light on what it is to young and in love and is part of this year’s Melbourne Queer Film Festival 2014.
