Recently JOY 94.9 joined forces with SBS Radio and 2SER in Sydney to broadcast live across the 2015 Mardi Gras weekend – quite possibly the most adventurous broadcast we have ever carried out. In a radio first, JOY was simulcast on digital SBS Radio for a 48-hour mega Mardi Gras mix of music, exclusive interviews and more, including our annual outside broadcast from the Mardi Gras Parade.
This podcast shares highlights from the parade broadcast itself – the glitz, the glamour and the people. Your presenters include a range of familiar names from both JOY 94.9 and 2SER, and special guests such as John Caldwell. These highlights were originally aired on Saturday 7 March.
