Faith, Sexuality and Gender Diversity

This JOY 94.9 podcast is part of a project funded by the Victorian Multicultural Commission and we thank them for their support.
For the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (often known as IDAHO, IDAHOT or IDAHOBIT), the City of Darebin hosted an evening of conversation on the theme of Faith, Sexuality and Gender Diversity. It took place on Thursday, 21 May 2015 at the Darebin Intercultural Centre in Preston and was organised by the members of the Darebin Sexuality, Sex and Gender Diversity Advisory Committee.
A panel of five faith leaders and advocates shared their stories and views on a set of questions presented to them by moderator Avraham Schwarz. You will also hear some participation from the audience towards the end of the session. The panellists are Sally Goldner, Luke Gahan, Pastor Becky Bauer, Rev. Petter Batten and Nur.
This recording was made by new Taste of Radio graduates Marianne and Claudine, and was part of a program broadcast on JOY 94.9 on 28 May 2015. The program was produced by new Taste of Radio graduates including Stephanie, Marianne, Claudine and Tal.
