Earlier this morning during the World AIDS Day 2015 launch, Christabel Millar spoke to those in attendance. Christabel joined the Living Positive Victoria board of directors in 2014.

In the last year she has broadened her governance knowledge and become an outstanding spokesperson for younger people living with HIV. She is a member of the Living Positive Victoria legal working group and as a Director broadens the discussion to ensure that their organisation is relevant and accessible to women and younger people.

She challenges the Australian stereotyping of people living with HIV. She grew up in London and comes from a part of society where HIV ands AIDS are never acknowledged. A truly life altering event has led her to engage with a community that aims to change things for the better through the sharing of lived experience but also for greater human rights everywhere.
