Founded by five friends from Melbourne, whose travels through South East Asia bought them to the Sangkhlaburi District on the Thai Burma border, Echo International was born.
Despite widespread poverty, lack of child education, social and political issues the people were caring and possessed such a generosity of spirit that the friends were inspired to give something back and make a difference to others around the world.
In this interview with On The Line’s Dean Beck, Echo International’s Jeremi Wallace speaks about where it all started and the challenges associated.
