In this interview flashback to the 2017 Pride March in Melbourne on January 29th, 2017. Macca and Tass speak to Victorian Premier The Hon. Daniel Andrews MP. Dan was about to take part in the March with wife Catherine for a third year running and explained why ‘Melbourne, is the progressive capital of our nation’. He shares his thoughts on why the day is significant for not just the LGBTI community but also why he was the first premier in the country to lead a Pride March back in 2015. JOY presenter Macca also does his best to see if he can get an extra 5 million dollars of funding to support the building of the future Pride Centre. The interview took place just hours before the March kicked off at 2pm with JOY commentary from your favorite presenters.
