In April we saw Bonza airlines collapse and Rex airlines has since gone into voluntary administration, further reducing the amount of competition in the skies.

So – are we here in Australia – destined to always have a domestic airline duopoly dominated by Qantas and Virgin Australia?

Recently we’ve heard the term slot hoarding being raised – what is it and could it be contributing to the reduction in airline competition?
