Screens across the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s headquarters were hacked to display a deepfake video of President Donald Trump kissing and sucking Elon Musk’s toes. The incident, which occurred on the first day that federal employees were required to return to the office full-time, has raised serious concerns about cybersecurity and the role of Artificial Intelligence-generated misinformation in politics.
