Melbourne Victory is gearing up for the third annual Pride Cup at AAMI Park, a match about celebrating inclusion in football. It started in 2021 when Adelaide’s Josh Cavallo came out, becoming the first openly gay male player in the A-League. It is now a key fixture in the A-League’s Pride Celebration, promoting safer and more inclusive sports spaces.
