Germany decides
A contemporary ballad will represent Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest in May 2012.
The national selection, “Unser Star für Baku”, picked Roman Lob singing “Standing Still” on Friday February 17th.

It was a close run thing, with Lob beating out Ornella de Santis and “Quietly” by a margin of 50.7% to 49.3%.
Roman is 21 and is the lead singer of the alternative rock band Rooftop Kingdom.
