Eurovision History Chat: Ukraine
Ukraine started out almost innocently at Eurovision in 2003 with a circus themed performance and an interestingly voiced singer. It was song so by-the-numbers Eurovision that it seemed destined to win. Except it didn’t.
Ukraine did win the following year with a song that was so far removed from the Eurovision template, that it truly broke the mold.
