Russia decides…
In Eurovision, much like the Magic Kingdom, anything can happen: Revolutions can begin, superstars can be born, and six grandmothers from a rural village in Russia can represent their country.
The latter just occurred with the win of Buranovskiye Babushki and their song Party for Everybody which won both the televoters and jury.
Coming in second with 29.25 points was the duet Back to Her Future which was performed by Dima Bilan and Julia Volkova (ex-t.A.T.u).
The lyrics for Party for Everybody are by the Babushki themselves.
