JOY 94.9 arrives in Malmö

The day has finally come: Australia’s only GLBTIQ radio station has arrived in Sweden for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest!

All the big second dress rehearsals start tomorrow (Friday) and there will be heaps of pictures and reports about them right here online for JOYEurovision.

So that you get your bearings, some images:

Malmö Arena is where it all happens. You’ll know all about this stadium in the next week or so.

Malmömässan is the home of the Press Centre, where I will be stationed for the entire duration of the Contest. It’s actually right behind Malmö Arena and there is supposed to be some walkway between the two venues. Didn’t quite see that though…

As things get under way, there will be more and more Eurovision fun coming straight from Sweden.
