Conchita, the Phoenix, goes live
With all the songs now submitted for this year’s Contest, we can finally get to hear Austria’s entry.
Conchita Wurst was chosen early on to represent Austria, but her song has only just been released. Called Rise Like A Phoenix, the Bond-esque ballad is poised to give some depth to this year’s entries.
After having been the centre of petitions in ex-Soviet states, Wurst is attempting to win Europe over with the song.
She performed it live for the first time on Austria’s version of Dancing with the Stars.
