Vienna gets the keys and the Semi Final allocations
It’s been a big afternoon at Vienna City Hall, as the traditional Insignia Exchange took place to officially make Vienna the host of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

Representatives from Copenhagen presented the massive key ring to Vienna’s Lord Mayor, Michael Häupl.
The other major event was the allocation of countries to the two Semi Finals. Firstly, the Big Five and Austria were assigned their Semi Final to vote in.

Austrian TV personalities Andi Knoll and Kati Bellowitsch then drew countries from five pots and assigned them to a particular half of a Semi Final.

The running order of each Semi Final will be decided on later, by the producers of the Contest.
Do you think the allocations will favour a certain country?
