Austria: The Makemakes Make Vienna
Austria’s Wer singt für Österreich final has produced the host country’s entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
Three piece rock/pop band, The Makemakes, won the final with their song I Am Yours.
The pop ballad was a major winner of the initial voting round, collecting the big points from both the televoters and juries. They qualified through to the superfinal with DAWA’s entry Feel Alive.
The superfinal was totally decided on by the voters, who overwhelmingly chose I Am Yours.
What do you think of the Austrian result?
