Eurovision’s Golden 60th: What’s your pick?

60th_in_gold_Black

This year, the Eurovision Song Contest celebrates its 60th anniversary.

From humble beginnings with seven countries participating in 1956, to a massive 40 countries this year, the Contest has seen its share of big hits, big names, big hair and big staging.

To celebrate, the EBU has created a special 60th anniversary microsite at 60th.eurovision.tv to recap all the highlights of 60 years of Eurovision magic. In addition to the site, the BBC is organising a special concert showcasing some of the best songs from the Contest. Eurovision Song Contest’s Greatest Hits will take place on 31 March, with SBS’s broadcast yet to be determined.

But we want to celebrate too! JOYEurovision will be presenting a 60th anniversary special on Saturday 11 April at 7pm AEST, with a focus on JOYsters’ favourite Eurovision songs.

Type in your favourites and send them through.

And remember to listenĀ on Saturday 11 April at 7pm AEST to see if your favourites made it!
