Sweden: Who should get another #melfest chance?

Sweden’s Melodifestivalen semis have concluded and it’s now time for the all-important Andra Chansen round.

This year, the eight Andra Chansen finalists have been drawn into four duels. The four winners will make their way to Stockholm to compete in the Melodifestivalen Final on 14 March.

Who do you choose? Click on the song titles to check out the actual Melodifestivalen performances.

And vote, vote, vote!

Duel #1: Linus Svenning vs. Andreas Weise

Linus Svenning was the man who got through to last year’s Final, out of the Andra Chansen round. This year’s effort is no ballad. Forever Starts Today is quite a pop tune.

On the other hand, Andreas Weise has pulled out the big guns with Bring Out the Fire. Catchy and glittery, it’s certainly a Eurovisiony song.

Duel #2: Hasse Andersson vs. Kristin Amparo

Hasse Andersson’s hoping for a bit of love from the country lovers. Guld och gröna skogar was a surprise Andra Chansen qualifier. Will he continue on?

Kristin Amparo has been a big name in the Swedish charts over the last year and this track is quite different to what people are used to. Is she the new Adele with I See You?

Duel #3: Dolly Style vs. Dinah Nah

A dancing duel with Dolly Style taking control of the stage with their thumper. You’ll be singing Hello Hi over and over again.

Dinah Nah really likes pink. She also likes to dance. She’s got both going in her song Make Me (La La La), but can it outdo the craziness of the dollies?

Duel #4: Behrang Miri ft Victor Crone vs. Samir & Viktor

Swedish talent TV show star Behrang Miri featured Victor Crone in his entry, which was a surprise second chancer. Can Det rår vi inte för do it for Behrang?

Party boys Samir & Victor had major success with their huge summer dance anthem Success. They’re trying to do the same with Groupie and it’s certainly a sing-along favourite.
