After Conchita’s win last year, Austria has sent a totally different type of act to represent the host in this year’s 60th Eurovision Song Contest.
Three-piece rock band, The Makemakes, were selected from a collection of 16 entries in this year’s Austrian national final. They got together in 2012, with their debut single charting just one month after their formation.
Michael talked to the boys about their Eurovision song from their new self-titled album, while getting some hot fashion tips from people who don’t want to be called hipsters. They also talk about Guy Sebastian and their thoughts about Australia. Their entry I Am Yours will be performed in 14th spot in the Grand Final.
