Malta: Christabelle breaks all the taboos

One of Malta’s favourite singers has reached the Eurovision stage with a song that’s breaking all the rules.

Christabelle is known to Euro fans from her participation in Malta’s national selection competition. She brings Taboo to the stage, sharing her message about mental health.

She chatted to Michael about the stigma of talking about mental health, how she displays persistence and that box which is caging her on stage.

There’s also a shout out to Jess Mauboy… and a surprise mention of our Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop.

See Christabelle perform Taboo in Semi 2 on Friday 11 May on SBS:

  • Live show at 5am AEST
  • Prime time show at 7:30pm AEST
