Eurovision Australia Decides 2019: Alfie Arcuri is not by himself

Out-and-proud Alfie Arcuri won The Voice 2016 and the architect from Sydney has become one of our favourite artists.

Ahead of his appearance on Eurovision Australia Decides, he chatted with Liam about life after The Voice and his true thoughts about that Winner’s Single.

They talked about the path to Australia’s first national final, including how we might have heard all the songs Alfie submitted if the rules allowed it! There was also some discussion about the stage performance and how Mäns’ ‘Heroes’ has had an influence in it.

Alfie spilt the (lukewarm chamomile) tea about his competitors and their songs and shared his favourite Eurovision entries of all time.

Plus the pair discussed Alfie’s song ‘To Myself’, explored its meaning and why it was close to not being sung by the man himself.

For even more from Liam and Alfie, check out the February 2019 issue of the Star Observer.
