Australia gets to choose its Eurovision entry for 2022 on Saturday 26 February.
One of this year’s Eurovision – Australia Decides artists is Charley.
Michael jumped at the chance to chat with Sydney-based Charley in the final days of 2021. They chatted about making music for a purpose, the importance of Eurovision to bring people together and the strange stories that have come from past singles. And of course, there’s just a bit about her Aus Decides song, I Suck at Being Lonely.
Why is storytelling important for Charley?
What would Charley bring to a Eurovision party?
How did I Suck at Being Lonely end up in Aus Decides?
