Cyprus made its debut at Eurovision in 1981 with the pleasant and popular Monika, a song which Sha-Pow points out is actually a play on words.
Without a doubt, Cyprus has carved its own musical path at Eurovision.
Sha-Pow and Hikaru discuss several notable entries in Cypriot Eurovision history including Lia Vissi’s 1985 entry, the charismatic Anastasio in 1990, and Lisa Andreas‘s moving ballad in 2004.
