Farid Mammadov is the hunky Azeri entrant for this year and he didn’t fail to use his charm when talking to the press after his dress rehearsal today.
Speaking in his native tongue, Mammadov shared his delight with the changes to the presentation, including a better box for his male dancer. He also was very happy to be in Sweden because of all the kind people.
When asked about any changes that have occurred in Azerbaijan since the Contest was held in Baku last year, Mammadov and his delegation were hesitant.
“Azerbaijan is develop very fast,” he explained, saying that “the only thing which is developing after the Eurovision is that the people love the Eurovision now more than it was before.”
After the Eurovision Song Contest, Mammadov hasn’t made any plans as he is concentrating on the task at hand. “I love of course music and sport… but my mind now is thinking about the Eurovision. I think I will continue the singing and the sports,” he explained.
Farid Mammadov will be singing his song Hold Me in Semi Final 2 on Thursday night, local time.
