The Icelandic Wiggles go to Copenhagen

After whittling 297 entries down to six finalists, Iceland has chosen Pollapönk to perform Enga fordóma in Copenhagen.

The four-man band scored the Söngvakeppnin win with a pop-funk-punk song, which translates to No Prejudices. Two teachers originally got together to form the band, with a goal of making music that both adults and children could enjoy. The same desire obviously continued to the costume selection, with all four members sporting bright, colourful track suits: Think The Wiggles at Sochi.

Pollapönk won their way through to the Superfinal at the end of the Final on 15 February, where they had to battle against Sigríður Eyrún Friðriksdóttir. In the end, the bouncy boys won.
