Don’t Deny was composed by Armen Martirosyan, with lyrics written by Inna Mkrtchyan. According to its authors, the song has a message:
Happiness is born when people are united and live in harmony with themselves, their families, love relationships and so on. Generations are shifting with time but the genealogy remains, thus the values of love and peace are stable.
Genealogy is a six-piece group with members from all around the world, formed by AMPTV to represent Armenia this year. The six members of the group are:
- Essaï Altounian (France)
- Tamar Kaprelian (USA)
- Vahe Tilbian (Ethiopia)
- Stephanie Topalian (Japan)
- Mary-Jean O’Doherty Vasmatzian (Australia)
- Inga Arshakyan (Armenia)
Some neighbours have already accused Armenia of using the song as political messaging.
What do you think of the song?
