Hungary: Hello Freddie!
Hungary’s A Dal competition has come to a close with a popular winner.
After three heats and two semi finals, Hungary has crowded Freddie as their representative for Stockholm with the song Pioneer.
The singer, born Gábor Alfréd Fehérvári, won the competition after advancing to the super-final along with Gergő Oláh, Kállay Saunders Band and Petruska. Not only was Freddie the favourite of the public, whose votes accounted for the entire super-final, but of the jury as well, who gave him the most points to get through to the super final.
Freddie came to the public’s attention through TV talent show, Rising Star, where he became known as the shower boy.
His debut single, Mary Joe, was a major success in Hungary.
What do you think of the Hungarian winner?
