Australia: Can Dami slay?
Australia’s broadcaster SBS has announced this year’s representative for Stockholm.
Queen of Austria, Conchita Wurst, made the announcement during her Mardi Gras show at the Sydney Opera House, with South Korean-born Dami Im named as Australia’s second ever entrant in Eurovision.
The 27-year-old singer rose to fame after winning the X Factor in 2013. Her winner’s single, Alive, debuted at number one on the ARIA Chart. The accompanying self-titled album also debuted at number one on the ARIA Album Chart.
Im represented Australia at ABU Song Festival in 2014 with her single Living Dangerously.
SBS will announce Australia’s song on 11 March.
What do you think of Dami Im for Australia?
