Cosima De Vito touched Australia’s heart as part of the first season of Australian Idol back in 2003.

Cosima became the first independent artist ever to have a number one single on the Aria singles chart with The War Is Over – which went double platinum.

Her debut self titled album reached # 2 on the Aria album chart & was written by US songwriting powerhouse Diane Warren (Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion & many more)

In this exclusive extended podcast Leo & Mykl chat to Cosima backstage at the GH nightclub in Melbourne before her live performance, she talks about her time on Australian Idol & her controversial exit from the competition.

Cosima also talks about working with hitmaker Diane Warren, the business side of the music industry, her 2007 follow up album This Is Now & her new single Hot Stuff – celebrating ten years since Australian Idol & a tribute to the late Donna Summer.
