It’s 1995.  JOY continues as a part time radio licence aspirant on the 90.7 fm frequency.  Musically we begin to find an identity and a sound which is very much tied to the love of disco and dance music in the gay scene.  A milestone is acheived, we actually are able to release our very first compilation of JOY classic anthems.  Entitled “The Strip – Pride & Joy” it contains 2 CDs and 23 classic disco tracks from around the world. How could we resist a US dance number one hit simply called JOY! Featuring the vocals of Carol Leeming, this is Staxx of JOY with JOY!
