While in Australia on a short promotional visit, Petro caught up with UK singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding.

At just 23 years of age, Ellie’s enchanting mixture of electro, folk and indie-pop has had the music press singing praises. She was awarded “Critics Choice” at the 2010 BRIT Awards, while her debut album Lights (featuring the single “Starry Eyed”) debuted at number one on the UK Charts.

They chat about the making of the album, the wave of female alternative-pop currently dominating the British pop scene, collaborating with our very own Gabriella Cilmi, Justin Bieber comparisons, amongst plenty of other things.
