2022 brings brand new music from one of New Zealand’s favourite singer-songwriters, Mitch James.

Mitch James isn’t one for sitting still. Traversing the globe over the past few years to team up with creatives around the world, Mitch has distilled his charm into hooky upbeat pop gem ‘History’. ‘History’ is the first taste of Mitch’s forthcoming album Patience – due for release later this year – and follows on from his 2018-2019 hits ‘Bright Blue Skies’ and ‘Sunday Morning’.

He’s shared the stage with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Six60 and more, chalked up close to 200 million global streams, and in 2019 founded a charity that uses music to help people fight mental illness. With ‘History’, Mitch continues his incredible story.

In 2019, Mitch created the Bring People Dancing Foundation in 2019 after losing a close friend to suicide. It’s about connecting people through positive experiences and setting future goals that let those with mental illness know they are not alone.
