LISTEN TO PODCAST NOW

This week we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first national broadcast of Soul Train in the USA by only playing tracks that appeared on the show. This hugely successful and beloved show celebrated the music made, produced and listened to by Black Americans (though it appealed to a white audience too). Every show, the host Don Cornelius promised you can “bet your last money it’s gonna be a stone gas, honey” and every week the show delivered. So join us as we celebrate Soul Train and the music that made it great. Love, peace and soul!
