This week Australia marks ANZAC day and remembers the terrible cost paid by Australian citizens participating in armed conflict around the world. In recognition of this, here at Living in the Seventies we always dedicate a show to music from Australia and New Zealand. Some of our favourite ‘Australian’ acts actually originate from New Zealand, and during the 1970s it was a very entwined music scene. Which, of course, created some great music.
