A powerhouse performer with a distinct rock vocal style, Tina managed to transition from one half of Seventies duo Ike and Tina Turner to forge an impressive solo career on her own terms, becoming one of the biggest and most loved stars of the 80s and beyond. So on this week’s show, we pay tribute to her stellar achievements by showcasing just some of the incredible music made by women in the Seventies.
