It’s the ANZAC Day/Radiothon Combo show
LISTEN TO PODCAST NOW
It’s a strange combo theme this week, but Marty and Venetia make it work. In honour of ANZAC Day, our lovely listeners have once again helped us construct a fabulous show. This time exclusively featuring seventies music tracks by Australian and New Zealand artists.
However, with each 70s track chosen today, some of our lovely listeners – you know who you are – also donated or subscribed or became members of JOY 94.9. That’s because it’s Radiothon time – the couple of weeks every year in which JOY 94.9, the community radio station that broadcasts the show each week and brings you this podcast, encourages you to dig into your pockets, wallets, purses, the back of the couch, the bedside table or anywhere else you might find some dosh and make a donation to keep us going.
You can help out too! If every one of JOY 94.9’s listeners donated the price of a cup of coffee, we could keep broadcasting for the next two years. So if you love this podcast, and you have some spare cash – any amount, large or small is welcome – head on over to joy.org.au. Let us know on our Living in the 70s Facebook page if you donate so we can show you some love and thank you personally on air.
