Living in the 70s

20 Feb 2021

Hey lawdy mama!

History, Society & Culture

Hey lawdy mama!

This week Marty and Venetia explore songs from the 1970s with mother or mama in the title. Not necessarily songs for mothers, they just need to reference a mama. Some mamas boogie, some mothers don’t dance, and some mothers don’t know, and wouldn’t like it if they did! Whatever the mama, it all makes for a great mix of Seventies classics (but maybe not for mother’s day).

Living in the Seventies is brought to you by JOY 94.9, Australia’s only LGBTIQA+ radio station. Find out more at joy.org.au. And visit our Facebook page at facebook.com/LivingInThe70s.
