American Woman
LISTEN TO PODCAST NOW
It’s our 4th of July show! As usual, we celebrate America’s Independence Day by dedicating a show to music from American artists. This year, in light of the overturning of Roe v Wade – which in 1973 gave American women the right to choose an abortion- we ask ‘independence day for whom?’ We recognise that many American women now have their independence severely curtailed. In solidarity we decided to feature Seventies tracks only by female artists from that great but troubled country. Happy 4th of July – our bodies our choice!
