Single Review – Josh Cashman’s Fortune Cookie
Single Review – Josh Cashman’s Fortune Cookie
Reviewer – Tristan Winter
This is a darling lil’ tune from a lil’ darling with beautiful luscious locks. Josh Cashman is a Melbourne local and his new single is ‘Fortune Cookie’. I’ve had this tune in my head all darn day. He sings: “I’d rather the cookie than the fortune”. Same, Josh. Same. Beautiful production and catchy lyrics. There is something so peaceful about this song, but it also has melancholic vibes.
His music is embedded deep within roots and soul within a dash of rock and folk.
He toured around Australia, New Zealand and USA as a support act for Tash Sultana and is quickly beggining to make a name for himself.
The ‘Fortune Cookie’ single launches will take place next month
- Sydney – Downtown Folk Festival – 13/10/18
- Melbourne – Wrangler Studios – 27/10/18 (All Ages Event)
