We are excited to welcome Local Roots – the new Australian Music show to the Summer Grid here at Joy 94.9. Join Jason every Tuesday night from 10pm where he will have all the best local Australian new release tunes lined up for you. On this week’s show we have a playlist filled with hits from some well-known bands like PNAU and The Presets, as well as a bunch of emerging bands and artists like Feather Touch and Samsaruh having their tunes played on the radio possibly for the first time.

Local Roots is committed to playing the best new Australian music from well-know Australian established bands, to those bands just starting off and in need of some airtime. If you’ve got a band you would love to hear on-air, email localroots@joy.org.au and we might play them on our next show!
