Rad Mitic Wins Mr Gay Pride Australia 2019

After taking the title at Chillout Festival, Mr Gay Pride Australia 2019 Rad Mitic joined Robbie & Dean on MAD Wednesday to discuss how it felt to win the title and why it is so important to him to stand tall and represent our communities with pride.

Mitic, 36 from Melbourne, won the competition ahead of Liam Davies from Hay in NSW, and third placegetter Melbourne’s Prashant Bhatia. He is excited to now headed to Capetown in South Africa to represent Australia at Mr Gay World in April.

Mitic was instrumental in setting up the In It Together forums which are held to tackle suicide within the LGBTIQ community, an issue very close to his heart after a number of his friends have taken their own lives in the past few years.
