Join the Melbourne Argonauts at the APL Regatta

The Melbourne Argonauts Queer Rowing Club joined Robbie & Dean on MAD Wednesday to talk about the APL Regatta, a collaboration between Albert Park Lake’s three leading clubs, Melbourne Argonauts Queer Rowing Club, APSM Rowing Club and the Y Womens Rowing Club

This is the 10th year the regatta has run and all three clubs champion diversity and inclusion in the wider rowing community.

Date : 4th May 2019

Venue : Albert Park Lake

Distance :1000 meters

Boats and oars are available for loan, if your club would like to borrow a boat that already lives at the lake please contact aplregatta@maqrc.org

• 43 races open to men, women and para athletes
• Novelty race – Pick a theme and dress your crew up for a fun novelty race to end the day
• Awards for fastest Male, Female and Mixed crews of the day
• Regatta village selling cakes, coffee, drinks and BBQ plus the bar opens up at the medal ceremony
