Jacob Thomas directs ADAM by Frances Poet for Midsumma

Director Jacob Thomas joined Robbie and Dean on MAD Wednesday to talk about the powerful true story about Egyptian trans man Adam Kashmiry that is coming to Gasworks Arts Park as part of Midsumma.

If you are born in a country where being yourself can get you killed, exile is your only choice. Adam is the remarkable story of a young trans man having to make that choice and begin his journey. It charts Adam’s progress from Egypt Scotland, across borders and genders, in his search for a place to call home.

Adam’s Australian debut is from 4-8th February at Gasworks Arts Park as part of Midsumma Festival.
