Miss Chatelaine #3, 14 February 2017 – Emily Barker, Ann Vriend, The Teskey Brothers and more

The show kicks off with a fabulous new track called ‘Audrey’s Song’ by Adelaide’s The Brouhaha. Next is ‘Drive’ by 19-year-old rising Melbourne star Gretta Ray, then ‘I Did This to Myself’ by New Zealand alt-country duo Tattletale Saints. Katie is thrilled to play ‘Sister Goodbye’, the stunning new track by Australian expat Emily Barker that is a tribute to ‘the godmother of rock’n’roll’, Sister Rosetta Tharpe. This is followed by the gorgeous ‘Pain and Misery’ by Victorian soul/blues band The Teskey Brothers, and ‘Real Love’ by Canadian (and honorary Aussie) Ann Vriend – currently on tour in Oz. Quirky folk tune ‘Green Morning’ by Brisbane-based Innes is next, and then ‘Head Above Water’ – the great new single by Melbourne queer duo This Way North. The show finishes with ‘St Kilda’ by UK singer-songwriter WOB.
