In the second hour of today’s show, Katie’s in-studio guest is Melbourne singer-songwriter and friend-of-the-show Cat Canteri, who has released an excellent new single called ‘Fitzroy Bowl’ ahead of her second solo album. Cat talks about putting local places and issues into her songwriting, skateboard culture in Melbourne, and making the video for the song at the skate park in Fitzroy’s Edinburgh Gardens. Katie and Cat also talk about their mutual love of US singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco. Here is the playlist:
