Nathan Cavaleri – Show #80 (part 2), 7 October 2018

Music

The show gets fully rocking and bluesy in the second hour as Katie introduces her guest, Nathan Cavaleri, the Australian guitarist-singer-songwriter who has been famous since he was ‘discovered’ at the age of ten. The conversation ranges from Nathan’s many appearances on Channel 9’s Hey Hey It’s Saturday in the 90s to his long-term friendships with musical mentors Diesel and Jimmy Barnes, and his new EP, Demons, and the tour to promote it. It’s Mental Health Week in Australia, and Nathan and Katie get pretty deep in discussing their personal struggles, and their shared belief in the importance of talking about mental health in order to reduce the stigma associated with it. Here is the playlist:

  • Time Is Right – AREA13
  • Workin’ on It – Nathan Cavaleri ft. Andrew Strong
  • Count on Me – NatCol & The Kings
  • Shadows on the Wall – The Swamp Stompers
  • Demons – Nathan Cavaleri
  • Pain and Misery – The Teskey Brothers

Visit Nathan Cavaleri’s official website (where you can find his blog) and follow him on Facebook and Instagram.
